There are many types of Massage Therapy | Bodywork. Depending on your body condition, your preference, and your body need we are using various massage and bodywork modalities to help you with your stress/pain. You may choose what kind of massage you want the therapist to perform, although if you are determined to get rid of the problem, we always recommend letting your therapist decide for you.

In most cases, the message will begin with a Swedish modality and then, based on the assessment, the session will be continued using also other massage techniques. If you do not know yet, which is the most appropriate for you, please read the descriptions below for a better understanding of the professional terms and if needed ask your therapist for help.

Swedish Massage is known as the "traditional massage" and is designed for body relaxation. It is a very effective therapy that enhances overall health and well-being. It helps to curtail recovery time from injuries such as muscle sprains and spasms, as well as stretching the tendons and ligaments and as a result, increases flexibility. It improves the circulation of body fluids, cleans organisms from toxins, and makes the skin firmer. Massage releases muscle tension, calms the body down, and levels of emotional state by stress elimination.

** If you have any serious/not treated circulatory problems, please consult with your doctor before receiving a Swedish (circulatory) massage.**

Deep tissue massage is usually similar to Therapeutic Massage just less spot focus. It starts with a short Swedish massage and continues deeper into the muscle to release built-up tension. It is a very muscle-specific modality. The pressure to specific points of muscle contraction is applied gradually, from medium to deep. This kind of massage therapy is very successful in releasing chronic muscle tension.

A Trigger Point is a very tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain at the point of muscle contraction or refers pain to other parts of the body. The pain may be sharp and intense or a dull ache. Trigger point massage therapy is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release, bringing blood flow into the tissue.
The results and benefits of Trigger Point massage are releasing constricted areas in the muscles thus alleviating pain. You can experience a significant decrease in pain after just one treatment. Receiving massage with trigger point therapy on a regular basis can help naturally manage pain 
and stress from chronic injuries.

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on massage technique. It involves gentle sustained palm pressure into the muscle surrounding membrane connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion in between layers of muscles. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: gentle pressure applied slowly allows a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.
Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on the skin with a very small amount of lotion. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate a release of the fascia. This massage is combined with Swedish and deep tissue modalities.

DEEP MYOFASCIAL RELEASE is directed into joint capsules and the deeper layers of the fascia and it is designed to correct body alignment and posture.

Couples massage is a great way to introduce this kind of treatment to a partner who has never gotten a massage before. Once he/she experiences a couples massage, they will be more comfortable booking a message on his/her own. This is a mixed modalities massage. Couples massage is done in the same room. Two therapists are massaging clients on two separate massage tables. It is a great option not only for daily care but also for Valentine's Day as well as Anniversary where special treats are offered.

Four-hands massage is a treatment performed by two therapists at the same time. They are using synchronized or not synchronized movements while relaxing your body and mind. It is a great option for clients who have a problem with total relaxation during the session. In the beginning, it may be confusing and you may try to keep track of the hand's movement but with time the brain gives up on control and the body relaxes completely.
**Second therapist may be a female or a male, upon your preference.**

Cupping massage is performed with the use of rubber cups, which create a suction of the skin. The application is done by circular motion into the slightly oiled skin. This kind of treatment improves blood and lymph circulation and helps to cleanse the body from toxins and excess metabolism products. Cupping massage effectively reduces swelling and skin changes caused by circulatory disorders. It is one of the basic treatments which have been proven to treat cellulite. It also slims, firms, and makes the skin more elastic. This kind of treatment possesses unique healing properties and removes any energetic blockage. Lymphatic drainage is done gently without oil.

IN CUPPING THERAPY plastic or glass cups are placed stationary on an area with depleted blood circulation and stiffness. 

IN MEDI-CUPPING THERAPY suction is created by a machine. it may be in stable or pumping motion in different intensities. It not only brings blood to the area but is very useful in scar tissue softening, opening energy blockages, releasing muscle tension, softening fascia, and breaking down fibrosis.

What to expect after?

You may expect bruises and soreness.

Using gentle and rhythmical movements of the skin, lymphatic drainage massage aims to improve the functioning of the body’s secondary circulation, and the lymphatic system, and help encourage the natural filtering and drainage of waste, toxins, and excess fluids from the body’s tissue. The technique uses light pressure and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow. This is a great technique to use after surgeries, lymphedema, and sinusitis.


LYMPHATIC MASSAGE has a similar effect to lymphatic drainage but is done partly with the use of oil, with deeper massage-like strokes.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER? Many people feel tired and drowsy because of the toxins' movement. There is also possible more frequent urination.

A chair massage is a short massage that lasts anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. This type of treatment is great for someone who does not have much time but has some muscle problems. This massage is performed on a special massage chair instead of a massage table. You can be fully clothed or you may choose to remove your upper clothing. This modality typically focuses on the tension in the back, neck, shoulders, and arms areas.
They are many places where a Chair Massage may be done, like corporate charity or sports 
events; conventions, offices, recreation areas, private, beauty salons, shopping malls, etc. It is a convenient and affordable form of relaxation.

  •    WHAT IS THAI YOGA?                                                

Before the start of the passive stretching, the message recipient changes into loose, comfortable clothes and lies on a mat, massage table, or firm mattress on the floor. The massage practitioner leans on the recipient's body using hands and usually straight forearms locked at the elbow to apply firm rhythmic pressure. A full Thai massage session typically lasts two hours or more, and includes rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body; this may include pulling fingers, toes, and ears, cracking the knuckles, walking on the recipient's back, and arching the recipient into bhujangasana (or cobra position). There is a standard procedure and rhythm to the massage, which the practitioner will adjust to fit each individual client.

Stretching is a type of physical exercise during which contracted muscles, tendons, and ligaments are coming back to comfortable tone/length, increasing blood flow and muscle/joint flexibility and range of motion. Regular stretching makes daily living activities easier.

Buccal face massage is a technique done by an esthetician that involves massaging the face from the inside of the mouth, stretching the cheeks, and accessing deeper muscles.
